Injectable Muscle Relaxant

Injectable muscle relaxants are naturally occurring proteins produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum This treatment is probably the most popular cosmetic medical treatment for facial lines and wrinkles. Signs of facial ageing can be reduced or eliminated with wrinkle relaxing injections, while maintaining a natural and more youthful appearance.

Treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes persistent lines between your eyebrows, on your forehead and on your outer eye area. Small injections of muscle relaxants are made into the specific muscles of the face that create wrinkles. This reduces the muscular activity and therefore softens the skin's creasing. Some patients may need or require a treatment with filler also for best results. This is not a permanent condition, and it will last for around 3 to 5 months.

Dermal Fillers

If you're looking for a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that will smooth out the effects of premature ageing, dermal fillers could be the answer.

As the skin ages, over time it loses some of its collagen and fat. These are the materials that prevent your skin from sagging. This means that our skin becomes wrinkled. Dermal Fillers (natural proteins) act as a cushion to gently lift out lines and wrinkles. They help to restore the skin to its youthful appearance by adding volume.

The filler itself is a substance that is injected beneath lines in the skin, around the mouth, between the nose and lips or into deep vertical lower forehead lines.

Chemical Skin Peels

An LA Peel smoothes and rejuvenates sun-damaged skin. It is indicated for patients with mild to severe acne, melasma, moderate wrinkling and actinic damage. Bioskin Jetting

Hopi Ear Candling
45 minute session: £ 25.00

Hopi Ear Candling or Thermo Auricular Therapy as it is also known, can be used to treat many conditions of the ear, nose and throat area.

The candles work by vapourising their ingredients once lit, causing convectional air flow towards the first chamber of the ear. The candle creates a mild suction which lets the vapours gently massage the eardrum and auditory canal. Once the candle is placed in the ear it forms a seal which enables wax and other impurities to be drawn out of the ear.

There is evidence of ear candling from all over the world, from Siberia, Asia and the native communities of North and South America.

It is the Hopi Indians of north-east Arizona that lend their name to the treatment. They used candles in medicinal ceremonies and initiations to clear negative energies from the head and aura.

The candles can be used today as a relaxing treatment to ease away the stresses of our Western culture and to address a number of problems relating to the ear, neck and face areas.
